Mobility vs. Flexibility
Mobility and flexibility are often used interchangeably, but they play different roles in overall physical wellness.
Mobility is the body's capacity to move through a range of motion with balance and support. A more active form of movement, mobility exercises can serve as a warmup or cooldown, enhance performance, and help reduce aches and pains.
Flexibility is a muscle's ability to lengthen. Associated with static stretching after a workout, flexibility can promote joint health and may reduce the risk of injury.
Improving both mobility and flexibility benefits the body. Together, they contribute to easier movement, greater strength, and long-term wellness.
