Hot vs. Cold Showers
Hot shower? Cold shower? It's an age-old debate, so let's give both sides of the faucet a turn.
Cold showers help wake you up in the morning and can create an anti-depressive effect. Chilly showers can also help lock moisture in hair and skin. However, cold showers might put a strain on your body. If you have heart problems, ask your doctor whether you should avoid cold showers.
Hot showers, on the other hand, help your body release toxins and open your pores. Additionally, the warmth from a hot shower relaxes muscles and lessens tensions. But hot water can also dry out your hair and worsen skin conditions such as eczema.
